How to turn on Javascript

In Internet Explorer

  1. From the menu bar, select Tools.
  2. From the list that drops down, select Internet Options... (at the bottom of the list).
  3. Select the Security tab.
  4. In the Security Level for this Zone section, click the Custom Level button.
  5. Scroll down through the options listed under Settings until you reach the Scripting section (towards the bottom of the list), and set Active Scripting to Enable.
  6. Click Ok to close Security Settings; when the alert window asking Do you want to change security settings for this zone appears, click Yes.
  7. Click Ok to close Internet Options.

In Mozilla Firefox

  1. From the menu bar, select Tools.
  2. From the list that drops down, select Options... (at the bottom of the list).
  3. Select the Content tab.
  4. Make sure the box marked Enable JavaScript is ticked.
  5. Click Ok.

In Safari (on an iMac, iBook, etc)

  1. From the menu bar, select Safari.
  2. From the list that drops down, select Preferences (at the bottom of the list).
  3. Select Security from the list of options at the top of the Preferences window.
  4. Under Web Content, make sure the Enable JavaScript is ticked.
  5. Close the Security window.
